Thousands of music fans are expected to head to both Hylands Park Chelmsford and Western Park Stafford for the annual V festival.

Over 80 acts will perform on four stages at the two day festival and some of the biggest names in music at the moment will be headlining; Eminem, Rihanna, Manic Street Preachers, Artic Monkeys, Dizzee Rascal, Pendulum and the Kaisser Chiefs.

As well as music, each venue will have a variety of other events taking place including a comedy tent hosted by the glee club

For those festival goers planning on camping, the weather is expected to be mixed. Saturday will be the best with sunny spells forecasted, but Sunday could see showers and longer spells of rain.

For festival goers planning on pitching their tents, the campsites at both venues will be open on Friday, so roads around the areas are expected to be congested and there will be some road closures and travel restrictions, which will continue until Monday.
